Iain Mason

Associate, Commercial Property

Iain is an Associate in the Business Property Team.

He has extensive experience on a wide variety of commercial property matters, providing timely and pragmatic advice to clients.

He advises both landlords and tenants on day-to-day commercial property matters, from the management of lettings on an industrial estate and advice on portfolio management issues through to the negotiation of leases of retail units and office suites. He has worked on large-scale regeneration and development projects, including the negotiating conditional development agreements, as well as the drafting of bespoke overage agreements. He has acted on the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold properties, both for development purposes and standard sale, for both private and public sector clients.

He has recently advised an innovative healthcare services supplier in connection with its acquisition of local healthcare premises for the provision of primary care facilities.

He joined Stone King in October 2011, having moved from Bond Pearce in Bristol. Iain trained and qualified in 2001 at a national firm, subsequently working at a niche commercial law practice in Wiltshire.
