Roger Inman
Partner, Head of Education Team
Roger specialises in education law and acts on behalf of maintained and independent schools, and for individual parents. He advises on all legal aspects of school life, with a particular specialism in school governance and reorganisation, admissions and exclusions, and issues arising out of provision to pupils (notably SEN, disability and other equality issues).
Roger joined the Stone King Charity and Education Team in 2007. He was previously a partner specialising in dispute resolution and education law with two Cambridge-based firms, and, most recently, Chief Executive of the Independent Panel for Special Education Advice (IPSEA), a national charity offering education law advice to parents of children with special educational needs.
Roger is a school governor in both the maintained and independent sectors, a member of Suffolk County Council's Admission Forum and a member of the Education Law Association. Roger both speaks and writes regularly on education law issues. He lives near Cambridge and works nationally from his base in our London and Cambridge Offices.
