Jean Boyle

Associate, Employment

Jean joined Stone King LLP in February 2008. Prior to this, Jean trained at a large regional firm in Manchester specialising in employment law before joining Osborne Clarke on qualification as a solicitor in September 2006. At Osborne Clarke Jean specialised in pensions. Her practice incorporated a broad range of pensions matters, including advising trustees and employers on their occupational pension schemes. Jean has a particular expertise in advising local authorities in relation to the Local Government Pension Scheme and the Teachers Pension Scheme.

At Stone King LLP Jean advises clients on a full range of employment and human resources issues, including both contentious and non-contentious matters. She acts for a wide range of clients on both day-to-day HR issues and on more strategic long-term matters such as tribunal claims, re-structuring exercises and harmonising terms and conditions. Jean’s intention is to provide pragmatic and commercial advice at an early stage to avoid issues becoming contentious at a later stage.

Jean is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
