Matthew Braithwaite

Associate, Trusts & Estates

Matthew qualified as a solicitor in 2005 having completed his training contract with the firm.

Matthew has been working full time in our London office since October 2008 assisting David Ainslie. Prior to this Matthew worked in our Bath office where he developed a strong client base.  He still retains clients in Bath and on occasion spends time in the Bath office.

Matthew specialises in the administration of trusts and estates, Wills and estate planning work including the complex area of setting up trusts for life and pension death benefits.  He has spoken widely at firm seminars and workshops and written articles which have been published in academic press and feature on our website.  Matthew is a full-time member of STEP.  He is also a member of the firm’s Charity Legacy Team and a member of the Institute of Legacy Management.

Matthew is a member of the firm's Social Events Team which is responsible for organising firm-wide social events throughout the year.
