Vicki Bowles

Barrister At Law, Charity

Vicki was called to the Bar in 2002, and works as a barrister/professional support lawyer for the Charity and Education team.  Prior to joining Stone King in October 2007, Vicki was a legal adviser to the Charity Commission, having sought a change of direction after qualifying into the Tax and Excise litigation team for Customs and Excise (as it then was).

Vicki has worked for a wide variety of clients, and on a wide range of issues, including starting a charity, public sector contracts, winding up, as well as constitutional and governance issues.  Vicki is also building expertise in the Early Years area of education.

Vicki also has a Masters in Information Law and Practice, and advises charities and other bodies on both the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act.

Vicki is a member of the Charity Law Association, and works primarily from home, and occasionally from the Bath office.
