Dan Harris

Solicitor, Trusts & Estates

Dan deals with all aspects of trust and estate work, including wills, tax planning, lasting powers of attorney, elderly client matters and the administration of estates. Dan has a particular interest in international succession issues and domicile, and as a consequence has experience with succession and taxation matters in parts of Europe and the Far East.

Dan came to the legal profession late, bringing with him wide commercial and ‘life’ experience. He spent seven years running his own successful business, and two years in charge of Yamaha’s Press and Public Relations department, as well as fourteen years in publishing; latterly as a publisher of motoring magazines. During this time he raced motorcycles professionally to World Superbike level, and in 1999 he held the ACU British Land Speed Record.

In his spare time Dan pilots a four seat aircraft he built himself, to UK and European destinations, with his wife and daughter, and is a member of the Light Aircraft Association.
