Education Law and Practice Update for Schools
A concise, two hour workshop covering recent developments with plenty of opportunity for discussion amongst peers. Topics covered will include:

- The admission of hard to place children including the operation of In Year Fair Access Protocols
- The relationship between SEN, disability and unacceptable behaviour
- Behaviour and Discipline
- Behaviour policies and management, including behaviour outside school
- Practical operation of sanctions
- Working with parents including parent orders and education welfare issues
- Exclusions
- Fixed term exclusions: good practice and pitfalls
- Permanent exclusions, appeals and reinstatements.
