Education Law Workshop in London: Key Points From The New Education Act 2011

This interactive workshop will give a general overview of the new Education Act and will give you a concise update on the key changes that it will bring in.


The key topics covered will include:

  • Admissions
  • Governance
  • Academies
  • Teachers: misconduct and protection against allegations
  • Powers in relation to search and confiscation
  • School discipline and exclusion
  • Secretary of State enhanced powers of intervention
  • Ofsted

This workshop will include a brief presentation followed by ample opportunity for attendees to discuss the issues in more detail. Due to an interactive format the number of places are limited, so please register as soon as possible.

Venue: The workshop will take place at Stone King LLP, 16 St John’s Lane, London EC1M 4BS.  

Timings: Registration 2.15pm, start 2.30pm and finish no later than 4.30pm.
