FASNA workshop in Cheltenham: All you need to know about Academy Status

FASNA (Foundation, Aided Schools and Academies National Association) is pleased to invite you to a half day seminar delivered in assocation with: Stone King LLP and Place Group.Lunch 12.00 Seminar close 16.15
The aims of the seminar are to give delegates:- An assessment of the new educational landscape and the confidence to consider whether academy status is an appropriate choice
- Input from a Headteacher of a school which recently converted
- An overview of the legal process including multi academy arrangements
- ‘Top tips’ on consultation, communication, governance over the transition
- An opportunity to ‘Ask the Business Manager’ about the impact of academy status
- ‘Top Tips’ on evaluating the impact of conversion and the role of governors in an effective accountability framework

FASNA is an Authoritative Resource for all schools considering Academy status offering support throughout the conversion process and especially post conversion to enable schools to raise standards by making effective use of the new freedoms.
