Richard is the sixth member and fifth generation to run his family firm in Cirencester.
Over the years he has developed expertise in a wide variety of private client issues with a particular focus on estate planning. He has regularly advised Names at Lloyds and executors of their estates particularly at the time of Reconstruction and Renewal.
Richard has also advised many charitable organisations within the community on a variety of issues including fund-raising and governance. He was for some years a school governor.
He was a founder member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and has been Clerk to a division of the General Commissioners of Taxes for more than 25 years and Honorary Secretary for some 10 years of the North Wessex Regional Association of General Commissioners.
Richard spent twelve years in the Territorial Army (with the Royal Wessex Yeomanry) and enjoys skiing, shooting and singing. He is a founder member of the Cotswolds Rowing Club.
