Roger Inman

Partner, Head of Education

Roger specialises in education law and acts on behalf of maintained and independent schools, and for individual parents.  He advises on all legal aspects of school life, with a particular specialism in special educational needs, school admissions and exclusions, and disability and other equality issues. 

Roger joined the Stone King charity and education team in 2007.  He was previously a partner specialising in dispute resolution and education law with two Cambridge-based firms, and, most recently, Chief Executive of the Independent Panel for Special Education Advice (IPSEA), a national charity offering legal advice to parents of children with special educational needs.

Roger is a member of the Education Law Association, a school governor, a member of Suffolk County Council's Admission Forum, and an education member of the Law Society's national Disability and Mental Health Committee.  He lives near Cambridge and divides his time between all of our offices.
