Trustee Concerns
The concept of trusteeship lies at the heart of the voluntary sector. It is the trustees who carry ultimate responsibility for the work of their organisation and our advice is designed to assist them in what can be a very challenging task.
We believe that our role as lawyers is to pre-empt difficulties and not just deal with problems after they have been encountered. We provide advice and assist in the training of trustees through:
- tailor-made trustee training sessions as and when required;
- our newsletters;
- invitations to our workshops on specific current issues.
Most of our lawyers have experience of being trustees of voluntary organisations, giving them an insight into the role of trustees.
