We act for over 300 schools across all types in both the independent and maintained sectors, including work for organisations operating multiple schools. Many of our team also contribute to the education sector as volunteer governors and trustees of educational charities, and we have excellent networking relationships with national organisations in the independent schools sector, notably the ISC, the ISA and the CISC. We have specialists with significant experience in all aspects of the school sector. About 40% of our work as a firm is with education and charity clients and 12 members of our Education & Charity team work full time on pure education and charity law/governance matters, with 16 other qualified lawyers (in our property, employment, dispute resolution and commercial teams) whose time is primarily or wholly spent in acting for education and charity clients.
