Legal Aid
If you are a parent of a child or you have Parental Responsibility for a child, legal advice and representation will be automatically available to you in the following circumstances:
- If you have received a ‘letter before proceedings’ inviting you to a pre-proceedings meeting with the Local Authority.
- Where Care Proceedings have been issued by the Local Authority or you have received notification in writing that proceedings are going to be issued.
