Recent Experience

• Advising developers on general and specialised commercial property development projects in and around Bath and within the UK.
• Currently acting for a retirement home mixed use development comprising 45 residential units of 100% ownership, 50-50% ownership and social housing together with retail units and commercial facilities.
• Acting for both landlords and tenants on retail unit leases and dealing with a range of issues from rent review and break clauses to notice to quit.
• Broad experience in Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 contracting out issues and resolving difficulties for both parties.
• Provision of property management services for the commercial landlord, including rent collection, assignments, licences for alterations, change of use and planning permission for building extensions.
• Specialised advice including substation leases, shared use of facilities agreements, option agreements, confidentiality agreements, licences to occupy and defective title insurance.
• Acting for developers and funders dealing in property investment and finance  including many high street clearing banks. 
• Acting for investors and developers in relation to joint ventures and pre-planning agreements.
