The Team

We have a team of highly skilled and experienced solicitors who are trained to listen carefully to their clients and come up with the best possible solutions to their needs.

The Wills and Estate Planning Services Team is headed by Andrew Mortimer.

We ensure that the members of the team have the relevant qualifications and skills. All the partners and solicitors belong to the Team and all of them have, or plan to obtain, the industry-recognised qualification for this area of work through the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners.

We work closely with clients' professional advisers, including accountants, brokers and financial advisers. Where necessary, we call on the experience and skills of other units in the firm to address the legal issues facing our clients.

The team has an enviable and growing reputation for its work, and members of it regularly lecture on relevant topics, including for example inheritance tax and the changes introduced to the inheritance tax treatment of trusts by the Finance Act 2006.
