Effective induction and early intervention - Performance Management of new staff in single schools and MATs - London - 20.06.2019

Following the success of our previous events, Stone King has again partnered with BlueSky to deliver this joint seminar that will concentrate on Effective Induction and early intervention.

Ensuring staff feel valued and that their efforts are making a difference, increases job satisfaction and encourages their commitment to your organisation. With recruitment costs running in excess of £25,000 per position and national statistics on staff retention recently produced by NUT claiming that 18% of teachers expect to leave the classroom in less than 2 years, induction and early intervention could never be more important. When better to start that process than on day one? Induction and early intervention support are critical factors in retaining  new staff. By the end of the session, delegates will leave with:

  • A deeper understanding of what an effective induction process entails
  • Familiarity with the key issues in embedding new employees into a school / MAT
  • An understanding of how early intervention can resolve issues and minimise the need for formal procedure
  • A clear understanding of how induction and intervention can impact the future employee lifecycle
