DfE Consultation (closing 18th May 2026)
With the deadline for the government’s SEND reform consultation approaching, we are holding this Q&A session for senior leaders in maintained schools, academies and colleges, who may wish to respond to the consultation. At this informal session, we will invite participants to share their questions with us about the proposals that are the subject of the consultation and their implications for your institutions. At this session two of our SEND legal experts will do their best to respond to all questions tabled, as well as raising related points about the reforms that may have wider implications for your.
The session will be held by Richard Freeth (Partner) and Elizabeth Fortin (Senior Associate) in the Education Team. Both have particular expertise on SEND matters, from EHC processes, to funding, advising on such issues as they relate to individual pupils, and schools and Trusts more widely.
Please email your questions to erf@stoneking.co.uk identifying them as “12th May SEND Q&A”.
