Contentious Law

Our contentious law work usually includes building and property matters at litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation. Experts in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) our construction team are all members of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Our work usually includes disputes over poor quality and defective workmanship, issues over payments, non-payments and quantum, negligence and breach of contract.

Non Contentious Law

We offer advice regarding contract and commercial procurement, contract formation, assignments, novations, and collateral warranties.  We either draft or review development and funding agreements and work with standard form contracts, JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke formats.

We help take a project from design to completion.  We offer specialist advice on environmental and ecological issues, sustainability and decarbonisation.

We can also play an active part in any project and often work as Employers Agent.

What our clients say

"Jessica provided detailed, comprehensive support and was central in fighting an unjust claim lodged against our organisation. Jessica was speedy and diligent in responding to our questions. Additionally, Jessica provided clear and concise guidance to assist our understanding and navigate the process successfully. We hope not to have to go through a similar process again. However, if we do, we know who to speak to! (inspiration Trust)"

What our clients say

"I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for everything you have done for our family. Your kindness, generosity, and support has left a lasting impression on our lives.  Since the first time we met over Teams, we knew that you were the people we needed. You have always been there to lend an ear, offer guidance, and provide a shoulder to lean on. Your unwavering support during some of the toughest times in our lives has been amazing, and for that, Nicola and I are truly grateful.  Your kindness and generosity has made a significant impact on our lives, and we will always remember the support you provided us.  Thank you again for everything you have done for us."
