Your Training

Our training schemes are designed with your development, as well as our purpose and values, at the forefront. During your training scheme, you will work with our renowned specialists across our firm in a supportive environment that thrives on collaboration and prioritises our purpose: doing the right thing for our clients, in our communities, for our people and as a business.

Dependant on the pathway (Training Contract or Apprenticeship), over the course of your training you will have at least four placements (we call them ‘seats’) with different teams throughout the firm.

Eligibility

At Stone King, we understand that everyone’s journey is different, which is why we offer a number of pathways.

Training Contract (LPC & PSC courses)

To be eligible for the Training Contract, you should have or be in the process of completing the LPC (Legal Practice Course).  

Training Contract (SQE)

Where possible and if candidates are eligible, we will support candidates through the Apprenticeship programme. If candidates have already commenced the SQE or are not eligible for the Apprenticeship, individuals will be required to have completed SQE 1 before commencing the training at Stone King.

Apprenticeship 

To be eligible for the Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship, you must have completed a law degree or PGDL and not yet started the SQE. The Apprenticeship includes the SQE course, which is funded by Stone King.
