Stone King’s Immigration Team have seen an increase in queries from clients who are becoming increasingly concerned as to whether their Right to Work checks are compliant. Following the release of the Government’s new Right to Work Checklist and further guidance now the UK-EU ‘grace period’ has ended, the Immigration team have been working hard to help keep you up to date.

In July, Head of Immigration Julie Moktadir held a webinar on the new changes to Right to Work checks and the potential impact on employers across the sectors, with a particular focus on EU nationals now that free movement with the EU has come to an end.

You can watch the recording of the session for free on our website here.

To help organisations ensure they are aware of the impact of Brexit on their HR and employment teams and recruitment now that the UK is no longer a part of the EU, we have developed the Post-Brexit Organisational Review.

We want to help employers consider their strategic decisions post-Brexit, and determine the potential impacts of the end of free movement on their organisations.

Including a particular focus on the changes for European nationals, the review tool is easy-to-use, and provides free follow up results.

The team are releasing a comprehensive Right to Work Check Training package in the near future which will help your organisation undertake checks and assist you in obtaining a lawful statutory excuse against unlawful employment.
