Stone King is delighted to announce that it has renewed its sponsorship of the Charity category at the Bath Life Awards for a further three years.

Tim Rutherford, Head of the firm’s Charity & Social Enterprise Sector Group, says: “There are so many fantastic charities in and around Bath making a positive and sustained impact on the local community, many of which we are fortunate enough to work with. This particular Bath Life Award is a great way of recognising some of the charities involved in this hard work and saying thank you.

Stone King, which is recognised as one of the leading law firms for charities in the UK, has sponsored the award for the last three years. Winning charities have included Bath City Farm and Southside Family Project (joint winners in 2019), Mentoring Plus in 2018 and Jamie’s Farm in 2017.

Tim adds: “Unfortunately it isn’t possible to give the award to all the shortlisted charities, winners have to be chosen, but I know this is never a straightforward task for the judges. As such, we aim to support all the shortlisted charities at these awards by helping to raise their profiles in the run up to the big night. All of the shortlisted charities get complimentary tickets to our regular governance training session for trustees and the winning charity will be entitled to a legal update session for their trustees.

The next Bath Life Awards will be held on 27 February 2020 at the Bath Assembly Rooms. The Charity award is one of more than 20 categories that celebrate the city’s outstanding organisations and individuals. Entries for the 2020 awards are now open here:
