As specialists in the Charity & Social Enterprise Sector, Stone King is delighted to again be sponsoring the Charity category of the Bath Life Awards.

A bumper crop of finalists has been announced, all nominated for the important work they do in and around Bath and the South West.

The 13 finalists are: Bath Cats and Dogs Home, Bath Gateway Out & About, Bath Mind, Bath Rugby Foundation, Breakthrough, Children’s Hospice South West, Citizens Advice – B&NES, Julian House, Off the Record, SWALLOW Charity, We Get It, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and YMCA Bath Hostel.

“The Bath Life Awards are very much a fixture in the city and, after the last year, are a vital and important way to remind us all of the great businesses and organisations that create the vibrant and engaging community across our city which we are proud to be part of,” said Tim Rutherford, Head of Charity & Social Enterprise Sector Group at Stone King.

“The pandemic has affected each and every one of us and has been portrayed by some as the great leveller.

“But, in reality, it has exposed many of the significant inequalities in our society including in Bath.

“All the charities in and around Bath have been awe-inspiring during the past year in how they have stepped up to try and bridge these inequalities.

“I know the judges will have had an impossible task selecting the finalists, and the Bath Life Award for Charities really does help to further highlight those organisations and provides well-deserved recognition for all they have done.

“Stone King believes it is more important than ever to support the work that charities do – and also recognise those who contribute so much to Bath and the surrounding area.  Good luck to all the nominees.”

Bath Life Award winners will be announced at a ceremony in September.
