In March, two specialist advisors to the education sector are travelling across the country to offer free HR workshops. Education law experts Stone King and software solutions company Every, which designs easy-to-use operational management tools specifically for the sector, have joined forces to run these sessions.
The workshops are designed for delegates to share and discuss common issues facing HR in the education sector and will cover a range of topics, from the legal aspects of managing ill-health and disability in the workplace, to the day-to-day running and reporting on HR functions.
Free sessions are being delivered in Leeds on 11 March, in Birmingham on 10 March and Cheltenham on 18 March, with a London session on 19 March already fully booked.
Polly O’Malley, Partner in Stone King’s Employment Team, who will be co-presenting the sessions, said: “We’re excited about our mini tour, meeting HR professionals across the country. The education sector has to deal with very specific HR issues and processes. Together with Every, we will share our expertise, offer practical tips and, most importantly, we will listen to delegates and address the specific issues they face.”
