Stone King is pleased to support the Big Advice Day on Tuesday, June 18.

The event will see Bath-based charities and businesses coming together to share ideas and information.

It has been organised by the B&NES 3rd Sector Group (3SG), and will feature a range of local businesses who are all giving their advice to local charities for free.

Stone King is recognised as one of the leading law firms for charities in the UK, acting for local community groups as well as charities which are household names.

“We understand the environment in which charities and social enterprises operate and that ‘charities mean business,’” says Tim Rutherford, Head of Charity & Social Enterprise Sector Group.

The event takes place from 1pm at the Hub XV at Bath Racecourse, with Stone King’s Alexandra Steffensen speaking on Governance from 3-3.30pm.

James Carlin from 3SG said: “You might be surprised to hear there are at least 500 small charities actively working across B&NES. Good advice can be expensive to access so it’s great to see the business community in Bath coming together and sharing their knowledge and skills with local charities.”

Big Advice Day is part of Small Charity Week which celebrates the work of the small charity sector across the UK to help raise awareness and funds for these organisations.
