For another consecutive year, three Stone King Partners have been recognised for their work with high net worth clients, and the firm’s Private Wealth Law Team has been ranked in Band 1 for the Somerset area.

The Partners named in the ranking are Alison Allen, who is also Stone King’s Chair, Dan Harris, Head of the firm’s International and Cross-Border Team (‘ICB’) and Private Client Sector, and Andrew Mortimer, who is a well-established expert in trusts and estates law.

This coveted accolade is widely respected in the legal profession, due to the extensive independent research carried out by Chambers and Partners.

Dan Harris has also been singled out by the independent guide as a Foreign Expert for France in the South West of England. As well as France, the ICB team deal with most overseas jurisdictions and act for clients anywhere in the world.

“To be recognised, once again, for the excellent work we do with high net worth clients is testament to the fact that few other law firms can offer the same depth and breadth of private wealth advice,” said Dan. “Our clients know they can trust us to deal with highly complex asset protection issues, including: divorce, separation, child protection, dispute resolution, wealth planning and the administration of estates, whether in the UK or overseas.”

“I am delighted that we have again received a top ranking,” said Alison Allen, who specialises in dealing with our more vulnerable clients and their families.

“Stone King’s ethos is one of doing the right thing for our clients, for our communities, for our people and as a business, and Chambers recognition helps us know we are achieving this.”

Stone King is a national law firm with offices in Manchester, Leeds, London, Cambridge, Birmingham and Bath, where the firm has its headquarters and where it first began in the 18th century.

Andrew Mortimer, who joined Stone King in 1996 and became a Partner that same year, has worked exclusively with individuals on Private Client matters throughout his career.

“I feel so fortunate to have witnessed and contributed to the growth of Stone King’s offering for high net worth clients, and am beyond proud to be part of a firm that is consistently recognised for the high quality work we do,” said Andrew.

As well as private wealth law, Stone King deals with the full range of Private Client queries in addition to its work with Education, Charity, Business & Social Enterprise, Faith, and Public & Regulatory law.
