Stone King is delighted to once again be co-sponsoring and presenting a seminar at the South West Charity Conference & Expo. Organised by The Business Exchange, in partnership with 3SG, the 2022 event is returning to Bath Racecourse on Thursday 19 May. It is an opportunity for local businesses, charities and social enterprises to meet, share learnings and attend a variety of seminars throughout the day.

The day begins with a networking breakfast with guest speaker Hamish Evans, Co-Founder of Community Interest Company, Middle Ground Growers (MGG). The Expo will then officially open at 10am and run until 4pm, it is a space for charities and businesses to meet and exhibit. Throughout the day there will also be a series of seminars on a variety of pertinent topics. Both the Expo and all seminars are free to attend, but booking is essential.

What does good charity governance look like? What are the challenges and opportunities presented by the pandemic and a post-Covid world? Stone King Partner Rosamund McCarthy Etherington explores these topics and more in this seminar session. Rosamund is a top-ranked charity lawyer with more than 30 years’ experience of helping charities to navigate through a regulatory, governance and media maze, both as a charity lawyer and as a charity director and trustee of numerous not-for-profit organisations. The session will include a Q&A opportunity for attendees to ask their governance-related questions.
