As part of Government guidance, visitors to legal premises will have to wear face coverings to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

At Stone King we have been working hard to help keep our clients and our people safe, with remote appointments for clients as well as hand sanitiser and face coverings for those who need them when visiting our offices in Bath, Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds and London.
In addition, all of our people are able to access washable face coverings which, as well as helping restrict the spread of the virus, can be reused and so are environmentally-friendly.

We remain fully equipped to offer remote appointments via a range of platforms, with clients who would prefer to attend in person able to book by calling 0800 111 4336.

Kathryn Layzell, Head of Stone King’s Trusts & Estates Team, said:

We are committed to achieving the best outcomes for our clients and remained open throughout lockdown. We have invested heavily in technology and, as many of our people continue to work from home, are still able to hold remote meetings for items such as making Wills, discussing divorce options or probate meaning meetings with us can be more flexibly arranged around clients’ other commitments.

For those clients who will prefer to return to our offices we are delighted to play our part and help keep them and our people safe, with hand sanitiser in reception as well as face coverings available for any clients who forget theirs.

Even though we are in unprecedented times Stone King is continuing to help minimise our impact on the environment, instead of individual bottles our hand sanitiser dispenser can be refilled to cut down on plastic.

The dispenser is automatic too, meaning that people can simply place their hands underneath to receive some sanitiser.

Our offices are also being cleaned frequently with particular attention being paid to high contact areas such as doors and door handles.

Our teams across the Education, Charity & Social Enterprise, Business sectors as well as Personal Law have compiled answers to the main questions our clients have been asking us in relation to Coronavirus, and all our teams are on hand to help. Please click here to find our FAQs and useful information relating to our main sectors. Should you have additional queries or wish to seek legal advice, please do get in touch.

If present circumstances have raised any concerns or issues, whether professional or personal, that you would like to discuss with one of our lawyers we are here to talk and support you.
