Stone King is offering free information sessions to people considering divorce.
The sessions are being held as part of Good Divorce Week, which runs from 26 to 30 November, with the firm’s Family Law and Mediation Team offering couples and individuals free half-hour appointments to discuss how they can help.
Good Divorce Week is organised by Resolution, an organisation of 6,500 family lawyers who believe in a constructive and non-confrontational approach to family law matters. Its aim for Good Divorce Week is to help separating or divorcing parents limit the impact of conflict on their children.
Caroline Fell, head of Stone King’s Family and Mediation Team, says: “We know that divorce or separation is a life-changing time so wherever possible, we aim to resolve things constructively with your partner, to avoid conflict and find the best way forward for you and the family as a whole.
“Our specialist team of divorce solicitors can help you deal with the process, prioritising the welfare of your children, if applicable, and advising you on financial matters.
“We hope these free information sessions will provide some clarity to aid people’s decision making at what can be a very stressful time.”
Caroline is a former Chair of the Bath Resolution group and an accredited mediator and collaborative lawyer.
The work of the Family & Mediation Team has again been recognised by the latest edition of respected legal rankings Chambers which says:
“Highly respected for its representation of clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, such as arbitration, mediation and collaborative law. Regularly acts on private finance and children matters, and also has strength acting for clients on public children law cases. Clients benefit from its additional expertise in complex matters such as tracing hidden assets in foreign jurisdictions.”
All free divorce appointments must be pre-booked in advance with Stone King and will take place at 13 Queen Square in Bath.
