Tuesday 22nd May 2018

This week designers and entrepreneurs will congregate at the UK’s leading independent design festival in London; Clerkenwell Design Week.

Among the buzz and creativity of the 2018 event, Stone King’s intellectual property experts and ACID (Anti Copying in Design) have teamed up and will be on hand to answer questions on intellectual property, branding and design and how to protect your rights in the UK and abroad.

ACID is the UK’s leading membership and campaigning organisation for design and intellectual property. Representatives from Stone King and ACID will be based in the gardens of St James Church throughout the event.
Stone King’s design law expert Gavin Llewellyn and ACID CEO Dids Macdonald OBE will also be running through the risks, rights and remedies for protecting your brand and designs when they speak at a seminar on Wednesday 23 May from 2pm at 9 Dallington Street (EC1V 0LN).

Gavin Llewellyn says: “Clerkenwell Design Week pulls in scores of people from the established brands of the design world to young entrepreneurs just starting out.  Every design business should understand the importance of protecting its intellectual capital or risk damage to its most important assets: its designs and its brand.  We encourage you to seek us out for a free IP health check or attend our seminar.  We look forward to meeting you during the show.”
