Stone King sponsors annual charity conference for third year

The annual Business Exchange South West Charity Conference & Expo was set up in 2019 to provide charities and third sector organisations with access to seminars and expert panels as well as opportunities to network with industry peers and the business community.
Two Partners from the leading charity law firm will join the experts headlining the programme of virtual and in-person events to be held from Monday 13th to Friday 17th September.

Tim Rutherford, Stone King Head of Charity & Social Enterprise Sector Group said, “Charities and third sector organisations have been under enormous pressure over the past 18 months. At Stone King we believe it is vital that they receive the support needed now to thrive and survive beyond the covid era so that they can continue to help the communities they serve.

Tim will give an overview of the main changes being introduced by the Charities Bill which is likely to enter onto the statute books later this year, and what that might mean for charities. 

Julian Blake, a Partner in the firm’s Charity & Social Enterprise Sector Team will lead a discussion on partnerships and collaboration in the delivery of public services.
