We are pleased to announce our sponsorship of the first Big Hearted Bike Day.

The event is being held to raise money for the Bristol Heart Institute at the BRI, and comes on the back of the successful Big Hearted Valentine’s Ball in February.

Both events are the brainchild of businessman Gerald Creed, and the cycling event will take place in Bath on Sunday, 29 September.

“As a law firm with a rich history in Bath, Stone King is delighted to support this very worthwhile event,” said Peter Woodhouse, Head of the Business Sector and Employment Team.

“Stone King is committed to our clients and the communities in which they live and so sponsoring The Big Hearted Bike Ride was a natural choice for us.

“We hope our support will help the Bristol Heart Institute with their lifesaving work.”

The event will take place at the Odd Down Circuit with time trials around the track and a family fun session for all ages and abilities.

Proceeds for the Big Hearted Bike Day will go towards medical equipment for the Intensive Care Unit at the Bristol Heart Institute. It cares for patients from Bath, Bristol and surrounding counties who need open heart surgery.

The ball raised £7,000 in February which was spent on a fibre optic intubating laryngoscope for the centre of excellence.
