Virtual Charity Training: Safeguarding – a governance perspective

We have developed our new programme of Virtual Charity Training webinars to provide a comprehensive overview of topical issues for the charity and social enterprise sector. 

In the session we will consider trustees’ duties in relation to safeguarding, the Charity Code of Governance and the Charity Commission’s approach.  We will explore how to create a healthy safeguarding culture within your organisation, barriers to good safeguarding governance and serious incident reporting. The session will draw lessons that charities can learn from recent Charity Commission inquiries.
