Many religious organisations bring overseas members to the UK using the Visitor visa route. Such organisations should however be aware that there are activities visitors are permitted to undertake whilst in the UK, and activities that are not permitted. Failure to comply with the terms of a visa can result in an individual being penalised by the UKVI and potentially have an impact on an organisation.

Join Julie Moktadir, Partner and Head of Immigration, in this session to discuss which activities can be undertaken as a visitor and those that cannot, with a particular focus on those in the faith sector. Julie will also discuss alternatives to the visitor routes for religious organisations wishing to bring members over to the UK to undertake activities which fall outside the scope of the Visitor visa.
