People wanting to learn more about setting up and operating social enterprises can sign up for the free Social Enterprise Law Clinic this Autumn.

The clinic, an initiative between Stone King, Bath Spa University and Citizens Advice B&NES, will see lawyers Peter Woodhouse and Julian Blake provide initial free legal advice to proposed and existing social enterprises.

Peter, Head of Business & Social Enterprise Sector, is well-experienced in employment law and also supports clients in managing change in their businesses.

Julian (pictured), a Partner in the Charity Sector, has specialised in social enterprise and public services for over 30 years.

This is the second Social Enterprise Law Clinic from Stone King, Bath Spa University and Citizens Advice B&NES, with feedback from the first clinic extremely positive.

It also follows on from another exciting initiative from the trio, the Bath Law Clinic, which offers initial free legal advice while also developing work experience opportunities for the university’s law students.

Stone King has also funded a coordinator’s role at the advice centre to ensure both clinics run smoothly.

The Social Enterprise Law Clinic will be at The Studio, 10 Palace Yard Mews in Bath.

Places are free but must be booked. More information and booking here.
