Abbie Owen
Paralegal
Abbie is a Paralegal working in the Crime Team, assisting on a range of criminal cases. She joined Stone King in October 2022 after graduating from the University of Bath.
Alongside her Master's in Law, Abbie worked as a Compliance Assistant in the Risk and Compliance team at Stone King. In this role, she was responsible for conducting anti-money laundering and conflict of interest checks, delivering firm-wide training on compliance procedures, and supporting the implementation of updates to the firm's risk management processes.
Since September 2025, Abbie has been working as a Paralegal in the Crime Team, where she assists with preparing case bundles, attending court, liaising with clients and counsel, conducting legal research, and managing a range of administrative duties.
Abbie graduated from the University of Bath in 2022 with an Upper Second-Class Honours degree in Politics and International Relations. She went on to complete a Master's in Law at the University of Law, Bristol.
In recognition of her academic commitment and contributions to university life, Abbie was nominated to deliver the Student Vote of Thanks speech at her graduation ceremony. She will begin the LLM Legal Practice at the University of Law in January 2026, with the aim of qualifiying as a solicitor and pursuing Higher Rights of Audience.
Outside of work, Abbie is a keen runner and has completed the Bath Half Marathon on multiple occasions. She is currently training for the 2026 London Marathon, where she will be running in support of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Abbie also enjoys hiking and is an avid reader.
