Emily Ball
Apprentice Solicitor

Emily is an Apprentice Solicitor working in the Immigration and Employment Teams in Cambridge.

Having joined Stone King as administrative support in February 2019, Emily developed experience in immigration-related matters and now supports clients across Stone King's sectors.

Emily regularly works on sponsor licence applications for clients, including for educational establishments, businesses and faith-based organisations.

Emily has also worked on visa applications, including for Skilled Workers, Ministers of Religion, Religious Workers and Visitors. She has also assisted clients with applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK as well as applications to naturalise as a British citizen.

Emily has been recognised as a Key Lawyer in the 2023 edition of the Legal 500 for Stone King’s Cambridge-based Immigration Team.

Emily coordinates charitable events and initiatives as the CSR Lead for the Cambridge office and is the office Engagement Representative.

Emily studied Psychology BSc at the University of Chester, graduating with honours in 2016.

She is currently completing the BPP Solicitor Apprenticeship programme at Stone King.

During her university studies, Emily volunteered at a walled garden in Wrexham, supporting service users in building confidence and skills through meaningful activities.

She also volunteered at a local church in Chester to assist vulnerable members of the community through therapeutic art workshops.

Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking and music.
