Harriet Woodman

Harriet graduated from university in 2012 with a degree in law and went on to graduate from the LPC with commendation in 2013. Harriet joined the Family Department as a Paralegal in 2014. In October 2017, Harriet became a fully qualified solicitor.

Harriet specialises in acting for parents in the ‘pre-proceedings’ process where parents have received a ‘Letter before Proceedings’ from social services. She attends these meetings and advises parents on how to avoid going to court. Harriet also represents parents in Care Proceedings and has experience of working with people from all backgrounds, including those with learning disabilities. Clients often comment on Harriet's friendly and approachable manner, and the high level of support she provides at an emotional time.


In her free time Harriet enjoys baking, reading and running.
