Jas Bassi

Jas joined Stone King in July 2026 as the firm's first IT Director, bringing more than 25 years of experience in technology leadership, transformation, and information security. Having spent the last nine years working with leading UK law firms, he understands the critical role technology plays in delivering exceptional client service while supporting colleagues to work securely, efficiently, and collaboratively.

Jas has extensive experience leading technology transformation, cyber security, cloud adoption, and operational improvement programmes within professional services, and joins Stone King at a time when the legal sector has significant focus on technology adoption in driving greater transformation, digital resilience, and improving client experience.

He is particularly passionate about helping Stone King embrace innovation responsibly, ensuring emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence are adopted in ways that enhance client service while maintaining robust governance, security, and our ethical standards.

Outside of his day-to-day role, Jas is an active member of the legal technology and cyber security communities and is committed to sharing knowledge, supporting collaboration, and encouraging innovation across the legal sector.
