Oliver is a Trainee Solicitor in the Charity & Social Enterprise team having joined Stone King as a Paralegal in the Education team in September 2018.

Prior to this he worked for Suffolk County Council, Coram Children’s Legal Centre and Savills (UK) Limited.

Professional Experience
Charity & Social Enterprise

Oliver’s experience includes advising on the structuring and registration of new charities including societies; advising on governance matters; advising in relation to Charity Commission inquiries; and delivering trustee training.

Social Finance

Oliver’s experience includes advising on cross-border funding agreements and banking transactions.


Oliver has advised academies, maintained schools, local authorities, and parents and young people across the education sector. He has particular experience advising on matters concerning EHCPs, SEN; state school funding; alternative provision; SEN units and resourced provisions; and academy conversion and transfer.

Academic Experience

He graduated from the University of Sussex with a First Class Honours degree in Law and gained a Distinction in his Postgraduate Diploma in Law, having been recognised for his outstanding achievement.


Oliver is also a trustee at a small charity sponsoring girls’ education in Sierra Leone, the organisation raises money through charity cycles.
