Preena joined Stone King in January 2014 as a paralegal in the Education Team and is now a solicitor in the Charity & Social Enterprise Team.
Preena advises on a variety of matters including the establishment and registration of new charities, changes of legal form of existing charities, and constitutional and governance matters. As part of her training contract, Preena undertook a secondment within the legal team at Save the Children International.
Whilst in the Education Team, Preena was involved in a range of academy conversions and free school projects. Her principal involvement was in the incorporation of Academy Trusts, and the preparation of Articles of Association, Funding Agreements and Commercial Transfer Agreements. Preena also presented company secretarial workshops for the firm’s academy clients.
Preena graduated from the University of Surrey in 2012, and then completed the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law in London.
