Robert joined Stone King in December 2016 as a Paralegal in the Commercial Property team in Bath and started his training contract in September 2018. Prior to this Robert graduated from the University of Bristol, where he studied Law and went on to achieve a distinction in the combined Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Bristol.
Robert’s first seat was in the Commercial Property team where he was involved in advising on numerous academy conversions and academy transfers, including two of the first Sixth Form Colleges in England to convert to 16 to 19 academy status, and has developed a keen interest in Church of England school matters. Robert has also advised on a number of Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) incorporations as well as routine landlord and tenant work.
Robert’s second seat is in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team where he is involved in advising on various property related issues, including claims for possession, and commercial disputes, including breach of contract and debt recovery matters.
Before starting work with Stone King, Robert worked as a Berthing Master at Portland Marina, venue for the 2012 Olympic sailing events.
