Robert is a Solicitor in the Commercial Property team. Having joined Stone King in December 2016 as a Paralegal in the Commercial Property team, Robert then started his training contract in September 2018 and completed seats in the Commercial Property, Dispute Resolution and Education teams.

Professional Experience

Robert’s work highlights include assisting with the disaggregation of a further education corporation and its subsequent merger with two other further education corporations, assisting with the preparation and filing of a successful judicial review challenge against Ofsted and assisting with various complex CIO incorporations and subsequent transfers from their predecessor charities.

Academic Experience

Robert studied Law at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2015 with a 2:1. His dissertation considered the role of public participation in Environmental Impact Assessments in the context of the emergence of fracking in the UK. Robert went on to obtain a Distinction from the University of Law in the combined LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice.

Interests

Robert has a keen interest in sailing and, before joining Stone King, worked at Portland Marina, home of the 2012 Olympic sailing events.
