Sean Knight
Associate
Sean joined Stone King in 2014 as a paralegal in the Trusts and Estates team in London; he started his training contract in 2016 and qualified as a solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team in 2018. He is a member of Stone King’s Legacy Team and is currently completing the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) course, whereby he will become an associate member of ACTAPS.
Sean advises clients in a range of commercial litigation disputes, in the County and High Courts, across the firm’s sectors. Examples of his experience include charity disputes, contractual disputes, debt recovery, defamation, insolvency and professional negligence . In particular, Sean has expertise in contentious probate and trust disputes and providing advice in relation to a wide range of such disputes, including the validity of Wills, in the context of testamentary capacity and undue influence, removal of executors and trustees, constructive and resulting trusts and the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
Sean graduated from the University of Bristol, where he studied history, and went on to achieve a commendation on his Graduate Diploma in Law and a distinction on his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law.
