Yasemin Isik
Senior Associate Solicitor

Yasemin joined Stone King as an associate in 2018 after qualifying as a solicitor in 2014. She was promoted to senior associate in 2021.

She advises on a range of non-contentious real estate matters, with a particular focus on the charity (faith and non-faith), education (schools and trusts) and commercial property sectors. Yasemin has a number of years’ experience in advising on landlord & tenant transactions, as well as advising on estate management, acquisitions and disposals (including options and overage), academy transfers and conversions, charity mergers and incorporations and licensing arrangements.

An example of some of her work includes advising on a complicated disposal of surplus school land to a developer worth £10.25 million, which involved a number of parties and documents. This helped deliver a long-standing project to enhance and expand the school’s facilities.

She regularly advises charity clients on the property aspects relating to CIO incorporations, as well as the Charities Act requirements for charity land disposals.

Yasemin is also lead contact and champion for Islamic faith clients in the team.
