The Schools’ SEN Support Service is aimed at supporting schools with the navigation of issues relating to the EHC (Education Health and Care) process for children with special educational needs. It is aimed at mainstream and special maintained schools and academies.
Designed to support SENCOs, inclusion leads and those with senior leadership responsibility for SEN in schools, this service will help them tackle common areas of challenge, including those relating to Local Authorities.
The complete SEN Service provides schools with know-how, template documentation focusing on key points in the EHC process (e.g. needs assessments, annual reviews, and school consultation), updates, twice-yearly bulletins and a twice-yearly ‘surgery’ for key staff members (surgery live session invitations will be sent to registrants who are enrolled onto this service).
We hope this Schools’ SEN Support Service will be useful and informative, as well as alleviate the workload of those working in this area within schools, ultimately achieving better outcomes for families and children with special educational needs.
The cost-effective packages, include two tranches of comprehensive guidance and pre-prepared template documents, enables schools and trusts to address common SEN issues independently.
Each tranche of documentation can be purchased separately, but an annual subscription to the complete service will enable clients to benefit from two lawyer-delivered surgeries and two informative SEN bulletins in the year of purchase.
