EHS / ADR Specialist
Grace joined Stone King in August 2022 from RWK Goodman.
Grace is an EHS/ADR Specialist with professional qualifications in Environmental Management, Health & Safety, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Grace’s caseload is both non-contentious and contentious.
Representing clients from the Education, Faith and Charities sectors, Grace is often instructed to provide contract advice regarding development agreements, construction contracts, collateral warranties, assignments and novation’s.
Grace also works with clients from the Education Sector in the preparation and submission of CiF Bids.
Grace provides advice concerning Environmental legislation and the suitability of Environmental Impact Assessments, together with the appointment of duty holders and compliance with the Construction Design & Management Regulations (CDM).
Grace’s dispute work includes matters at Mediation, Adjudication and Arbitration.
Grace came to law in 2019 and has experience of both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Grace is currently working on several matters requiring contract review, building contracts, collateral warranties, development agreements and letters of intent.
Grace is also instructed to daft project documentation for a number of projects, letters of appointment under CDM, Health & Safety Plans and start the Health & Safety file.
Grace is also instructed to prepare a claim at adjudication for negligent work conducted by a contractor when removing asbestos from a school.
Grace has an LLB Hons from the University of the West of England.
In 2023, Grace was awarded a Diploma in Environmental Management with Distinction.
Grace has also been awarded a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. Grace is professionally qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (ACIEH).
Grace became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) in 2021 by direct examination.
Grace is also a member of the Adjudication Society and the Society of Construction Law.
Current studies include the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Certificate in Building Surveying.
Grace has a love of travelling, dance music and fitness.
