Sabine Butler
Solicitor
Sabine is a Solicitor in the Employment Team based in the Leeds office. She specialises in advising on a wide range of employment law matters.
Sabine joined Stone King in September 2024. She has previously worked with clients in the education, charity and healthcare sectors. Sabine has particular expertise in managing Employment Tribunal claims from infancy to final hearings, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, victimisation and whistleblowing.
Sabine also has experience in advising clients on day-to-day employment issues such as sickness absence, reasonable adjustments, performance management, and grievance and disciplinary procedures. She has also advised clients in relation to specific projects such as TUPE, redundancy and restructuring, and changing terms and conditions of employment. Sabine has experience in drafting employment contracts, settlement and COT3 agreements and HR policies.
Sabine assists in preparing and delivering training to managers, HR professionals and organisations on a range of employment law topics.
Sabine studied Criminal Justice and Criminology at the University of Leeds before completing her GDL and LPC at BPP University.
