The Bath Law Clinic, a collaborative initiative between Stone King, Bath Spa University, and Citizens Advice B&NES, has been shortlisted for two categories in the 2023 LawWorks Pro Bono Awards.

The clinic, which offers free initial legal advice to local residents across various specialisations including family, employment and immigration law, has been nominated for its outstanding work under the 'Best Contribution by a Pro Bono Clinic' and 'Best New Pro Bono Activity' categories.

The nomination comes after the clinic was highly commended at the recent Bristol Law Society Awards, where it stood out in the ‘Team of the Year’ category on 2 November.

Rachel Feilden, Senior Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Adviser at Stone King, said: “We are honoured by the double nomination in the 2023 LawWorks Pro Bono Awards.

“This recognition reaffirms our dedication at the Bath Law Clinic to delivering accessible legal support, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our collaborative partners and the community for their trust and support.”

The LawWorks awards ceremony will take place at the Law Society of England and Wales, Chancery Lane, London, on Tuesday 5 December.
