Congratulations to rugby sevens silver medalist Chris McIntosh (main picture, fourth from left) after a very successful Central American and Caribbean Games (CACG) competing for Jamaica.

Chris, a Paraglegal in our Commercial Property Team in Bath, has represented the Caribbean island since 2018, travelling around the world to play for the team affectionately known as the Crocs.

This CACG saw the team going one better and improving on the bronze medal they secured in 2018.

This year’s final took place in El Salvador and saw the Crocs score an early try before being beaten into second place by the favourites Colombia.

The silver medal now puts Jamaica in contention for what could be the team’s Olympic debut in Paris 2024.

“Representing Jamaica is a privilege, and I am so lucky to be able to compete in a sport I love while seeing new countries and gaining new experiences,” said Chris.

“Although it was disappointing not to take gold we are delighted with our silver medal and looking forward to doing even better next tournament.”

Caroline Taylor, Head of Commercial Property, said:

“We are so very proud of Chris, not only is he an excellent member of our team but a fantastic sportsman as well.”
