Stone King to present session on governance at AGBIS 2024 conference

Stone King is delighted to be delivering a session on school governance AGBIS Annual Conference 2024 on 18 March.

Held by Helen Tucker and Stephen Ravenscroft, the session titled ‘Governance of risk and how Governors can evidence their breadth of understanding of risk management’ addresses issues central to senior leadership in schools.

Helen, our Head of Independent Schools, and Stephen, joint Head of Charity Sector, will cover how governors can show there is an effective risk management culture in their schools, as well as posing the thought-provoking question ‘how integral is risk in your committee structures and is strategic risk an agenda item at your full board meetings?’

Targeted at governors, bursars, clerks, heads and senior leaders this year’s conference theme is ‘New Constellations' with panel discussions and breakout sessions helping to address evolving challenges in education from a range of perspectives.
